Radiology Specialists, a four member radiology group, provides primary interpretations for many of our MRI facilities. All of our interpreting radiologists are board certified in diagnostic radiology and all Radiology Specialist physicians have performed additional fellowship training. Radiology Specialists consists of:
Curtis Ray Partington, M.D., PHD. Dr. Partington, the founder of Radiology Specialists, is board certified in both diagnostic radiology and neuroradiology. Dr. Partington graduated from medical school from the University of Miami and received his residency training in diagnostic radiology from the University of Wisconsin. Dr. Partington then pursued additional fellowship training in neuroradiology at the University of Wisconsin and later became an assistant professor of radiology and neurosurgery at the University of Wisconsin. Dr. Partington has authored or co-authored multiple articles published in the radiology literature as well as several book chapters. Dr. Partington stands as the foundation of the neuroradiology expertise provided by Radiology Specialists. Bruce Ramsey Knox, M.D. Dr. Knox obtained his medical school education at Eastern Virginia Medical School followed by residency training at the same location. Following this, Dr. Knox obtained additional fellowship training in neuroradiology from Georgetown University. Dr. Knox brings extensive neuroradiology expertise to Radiology Specialists, but also has a strong interest and background in orthopedic MRI applications. Gary B. Lum, M.D. Dr. Lum obtained his medical degree at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine and performed his radiology residency at this same facility. Following residency, Dr. Lum obtained specialized neuroradiology fellowship training at the University of South Alabama Medical Center and then became an assistant professor of radiology at this facility. Dr. Lum also adds extensive expertise in neuroradiology and MRI to Radiology Specialists. Victor A. McCoy, M.D. Dr. McCoy is board certified in both diagnostic radiology and neuroradiology. Dr. McCoy attended medical school at Louisiana State University Medical Center at New Orleans. He completed an internship in internal medicine at LSU in New Orleans. He conducted residency training in diagnostic radiology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. This was followed by a fellowship in thoracic imaging at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina where he served as a clinical instructor. He then completed a fellowship in neuroradiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. Scott Mills, M.D. Dr. Mills is board certified in diagnostic radiology. He graduated from medical school at the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Denver, Colorado. He completed an internship at AMI Presbyterian Hospital in Denver. He completed a residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of Colorado at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver. He completed a fellowship in magnetic resonance imaging at the University of California at San Diego. He has co-authored many articles in the radiology literature. He brings expertise in musculoskeletal, abdominal imaging, and pelvic MRI to Radiology Specialists. Kathryn M. Nutter, M.D. Dr. Nutter is board certified in diagnostic radiology. Dr. Nutter graduated from medical school at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson, Mississippi. She completed a residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of Mississippi in Jackson, Mississippi. She was recognized as Resident of the Year for the years 2004-05 by the Department of Radiology at that institution. She completed a fellowship in musculoskeletal radiology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. She brings extensive expertise in musculoskeletal radiology to Radiology Specialists.
